About Consumer Club

The Consumer Club was established on 6^th December, 2022 at Govt. Mizoram Law College. The primary objective of consumer club is to raise consumer awareness and educate the students. The consumer clubs serves as a forum for the dissemination of information and awareness regarding consumer-related programs and activities; conducting consumer research project and the areas that require additional attention is the focus of Consumer Club. The consumer club helps the students understanding of consumer-related issues such as consumer rights, consumer protection, and consumer welfare programs. The goals of the club are to inspire young students by establishing in them a spirit of consumer rights protection, consumer redressal mechanism and to promote consumer law.

Aim:

To educate students about their rights as consumers.
To educate our college students about consumer protection law.
To encourage research studies on consumer rights and the operation of consumer law.
To build a Consumer foundation of knowledgeable citizens who will carry the torch for society.
